Resumo: | The objective of this research was to better understanding between change, organizational climate and performance, especially compared to expectation of change and the latter two concepts, where the relevance is in the form of a test deployment of Lean Manufacturing, the specific organizational change study produces improvement in organizational climate and organizational performance. The study is anchored on four topics: organizational change, presenting the concept and implications, organizational climate, performance indicators, which enable the analysis of results impacted and Lean Manufacturing, generating agent of change in the company. The research was a quasi-experimental. The data concerning the organizational climate and performance indicators were treated by statistical methods: univariate and multivariate results show that the change has direct impacts and also by expectations, but was inconclusive on the organizational climate, opening the possibility for new research to examine the relationship between climate and performance in a nonlinear way, since there was reason to believe that the performance improvement compared to the quantitative analysis of the climate, indicating an element of coercion in the improvement achieved in spite of the qualitative analysis, through interviews, provide an acceptance of change introduced into the production system. |
