Resumo: This paper analysis the utilization of the results from student’s achievement tests applied at Fundação Bradesco Jardim Conceição School and the relationship between those and school manegement. It also recognizes teacher’s opinion about this assessment. Considering the documents written by the school, developed actions about the results from the examination and the answers from a survey applied to the teachers, some effects are discussed to understand how these results impacts on the school organization. The collected information was analyzed in the light of educational examination literature and its contributions and its implications on the using of the results from the standardized examinations
