Resumo: |
This dissertation aims to emplament and evaluate the results of strategies and play activities and significant developed for teaching and learning fractions, based on the theory of social interaction Lev Vigotskii and theory of conversions from records of semiotic representations of Raymond Duval. To realize these goals, this dissertation discusses, at first, about my school careers, academic and professional justifying the motivation to perform the same. Then an analysis is presented on the mathematical knowledge and teaching of mathematics in the early grades of elementary school. Later studies are presented on the above theories. From then describe the strategies for teaching fractions from the perspectives of these theories. Finally, all strategies were applied in an exploratory way with two classes of students in the 5th grade of elementary school, Escola Dinâmica, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. The results of applying the strategies developed point to the conclusion that the teaching of math, especially fractions, based on the theories presented is more significant than the traditional teaching of concepts and applications, as it allows the child to understand all the possible meanings the studied object, thereby building your real knowledge |
