Resumo: The present research, at the master's level, aimed to investigate how the continuous training is developed in the municipalities of the Association of Municipalities of the Laguna Region (AMUREL), in order to analyze if the initiatives and strategies have guaranteed the right of education the teachers of Continuing education. In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire was used to collect the data. The questionnaire was sent to the 18 municipalities that compose the Region surveyed, of which 16 answered the questionnaire and composed the set of data to be analyzed. For the analysis of the data was adopted as the main methodological procedure the Content Analysis Technique and as a theoretical reference was used authors who have studied the research in the area of early childhood education seeking anchorage also in the analysis of the scientific production concerning continuing education of teachers of early childhood education, as well as in the documents and legal guidelines on the subject. From this theoretical dialogue, authors such as Tardif and Lessard (2009) and Tardif (2012) have proved to be fundamental references for the foundation of the concept of continuous training and, at the national level, the contribution of Kramer (2005). For conducting the analyzes, it was important to know how the municipalities are structured and organized to attend and guide the education of children; To gather information about the process of entry and career of the nursery education professionals in the Region researched and, finally, to analyze if the initiatives and strategies of continuing education are linked to the guarantee of the right to the education of the nursery education professionals in the Region researched. The analysis found that early childhood education in the Region is recognized as one of the stages of basic education, but its specificities are not a priority in the organization, structure and orientation, and still less in continuing education initiatives offered to children. teachers. This finding evidences that such training offered in the Region does not correspond to the necessary training for pre-school teachers and, in this perspective, do not meet the guarantee of the legal right to the continued formation of the teachers.
