Riassunto: This work presents the process of installation of STEAM, in the first year of Ensino Médio of Colegio Bandeirantes, in Sao Paulo. The initials STEAM – Science, Technology, Engeenering, Arts+Design and Mathematics, represent a movement launched in The United States proposing the integration of different areas, aiming at the improvement in education to cope with needs of a world in constant transformation. The characteristics of the movement are described, and how they compare to other approaches that also value integration. In this installation Mae’s Abordagem Triangular has been the compass for decision making in the areas of Arts and Design. The interfaces of Art, Design, Science and Education are discussed insofar they apply to STEAM. Finally, the phases of planning, the processes and products yielded, the cares and physical adjustments to achieve success in the installation are described.
