Sumari: | The set of articles “Methodology (s) of the Research in Professional and Technological Education: dilemmas and contemporary provocations” aims to present some questions about researches at modality of professional and technological education in Brazil. Authors focus on the knowledges and accomplishments of scientific researches in the specific field of professional and technological education. They present the sociocultural and methodological nuances of this field. Therefore they share experiences, challenges and concerns involved in systematic studies they have been carrying out at Master’s Course in Professional and Technological Education (PROFEPT) at Polo Jaguari at Instituto Federal Farroupilha (IFFar). There was an increasing demand for researching this kind of context after creation of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology in Brazil by Law Number 11.892, in 2008. Therefore PROFEPT as a network master’s program and it helps to open a new range of ethical and operational issues in this new scenario. For that reason, the purpose is to deepen discussions about research methodologies for understanding consolidated methods and to adapt them to the new context of professional and technological education in this country. This is the intent of this book which is recommended for recent and veteran researchers. |
