Summary: In this article, we aim at exploring how alterity contemporary debates address the question of migrant people. In dialogue with current studies about differences, we can consider as this analysis main framework the questions raised by Touraine (1998) when this author asked in which way we can combine our differences in a unique collective life. We will bring about some questions on the “strange” perspective (Koltai, Maffesoli, Bauman), consider the reaffirmation of differences debates (Santos, Wieviorka, Touraine) to finally observe renewed forms of discrimination, asking if it would be possible to consider them in what Foulcault (2002) consider as contemporary forms of racism.

Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências2013-12-12info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/339510.36311/1982-8004.2013.v7n1.3395Revista Aurora; v. 7 n. 1 (2013); 27-40Revista Aurora; Vol. 7 No. 1 (2013); 27-40Revista Aurora; Vol. 7 Núm. 1 (2013); 27-401982-80042177-0484reponame:Revista Aurora (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)instacron:UNESPporhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/article/view/3395/2717Copyright (c) 2013 Revista Aurorahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMagalhães, Giovanna Modé2024-04-03T13:37:29Zoai:ojs.revistas.marilia.unesp.br:article/3395Revistahttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/indexPUBhttps://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/aurora/oaiaurora.revista@gmail.com||1982-80041982-8004opendoar:2024-04-03T13:37:29Revista Aurora (Online) - Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP)false
