Para isso, foi realizada pesquisa qualiquantitativa, buscando-se apurar semelhanças entre as pessoas que se dispõem ao trabalho voluntário, além de suas concepções e motivações acerca do voluntariado, relacionando os dados obtidos com o conceito de hospitalidade e as atuais definições sobre turismo voluntário. Os resultados foram analisados graficamente e a partir do cruzamento de informações e análise dada a partir de observação participante. O Brasil tem se tornado um dos países mais procurados para sediar megaeventos, e a utilização de trabalho voluntário tem se mostrado uma maneira de incluir a comunidade e apresentar ao turista uma maneira de se compreender o local visitado. Concluiu-se que as variações entre renda e idade se mostraram as mais relevantes para a pesquisa, mostrando que de maneira geral, os voluntários que atuaram em Brasília possuem uma visão que busca mais o crescimento profissional e não possuí um caráter tão altruísta como o imaginado, além de perceber que a hospitalidade não é tão percebida como algo comercial e sim social. ______________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis research has the goal of analysing the socioeconomic profile and the motivations of the volunteers, who acted in an active way during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. For that a qualiquantitative research was carried out looking for similarities among the people who make themselves avalilable for volunteer work, beyond their concepts and motivations around volunteerism, relating the gathered data with the hospitality concept and the current definitions of voluntourism . The results were graphically analysed and based on cross-checking. Brazil has become one of the greatest sought place for holding mega-events, and the practice of volunteer work has been presented as way for better comunnity inclusion and shown to the tourist a way of understanding the visited place.
