The present work has as its theme the analysis of the influence of the didactic variables contemplated in the process of construction of didactic activities aimed at teaching the similarity content of triangles. From this work, the objective was, therefore, to analyze the didactic variables, contemplated in the set of didactic activities elaborated for the teaching of Triangle Similarity, for the accomplishment of “optimal procedures” by the students in learning situations. The didactic activities analyzed result from an experience previously lived by the author of this research, during 2018, in the project developed within the Degree Program (Prolicen) of the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB / Campus IV. To support our research we sought a theoretical support in the Theory of Didactic Situations proposed by Brousseau (2008) and conducted a bibliographic survey of research that proposed to observe the influence of didactic variables on the resolution strategies taken by students. As for its approach, this research was qualitative, as the objectives were characterized as descriptive. As data collection instruments were used the documentary records made by the students submitted to the didactic activities elaborated and applied in Prolicen. To answer our research question we analyzed the activities highlighting their objectives, identifying the didactic variables present and presenting the resolution strategies expected by the students. We conclude that the more careful choice of the didactic variables and their values is an important tool for structuring new didactic proposals in order to minimize the possible mistaken procedures adopted by the students, since we did not have this theoretical support at the time of writing. our choices for the construction of didactic activities.
