Resumo: O presente trabalho buscou investigar a atuação das mulheres na Igreja Evangélica Congregacional de Campina Grande entre 1920 e 1970, percebendo como a memória feminina foi sendo construída a partir da documentação existente no acervo particular dessa instituição. Após apresentar a História do Congregacionalismo, discutimos brevemente sobre a construção do acervo da Igreja Evangélica Congregacional de Campina Grande e seu processo de armazenamento e conservação. Exploramos, para o estudo da memória desse espaço, autores como Bacellar (2008) e Castro (2008). Com relação à memória dessas mulheres, recorremos ao conceito de memória coletiva e grupo de referência de Maurice Halbwachs (1990), e memória forte e memória fraca de Jöel Candau (2012).

After presenting the History of Congregationalism, we briefly discussed the construction of the collection of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Campina Grande and its storage and conservation process. We explored authors such as Bacellar (2008) and Castro (2008) to study the memory of this space.
