Os recursos disponíveis para as organizações são cada vez mais escassos, obrigando a que o seu emprego seja feito de forma criteriosa e rentável para a organização. Nesse contexto é necessário que as organizações evoluam, adotem alternativas que lhe permitam gerir os recursos disponíveis de forma económica, maximizando a eficiência e eficácia. Este trabalho foca-se na utilização do outsourcing para o fardamento e pretende analisar a sua utilização no processo de gestão do fardamento da Marinha. Com esse propósito, foi analisado o atual modelo de gestão de fardamento, a sua substituição através da contratação de uma entidade exterior, com experiência na área e a forma de implementar esse novo modelo de negócio. Apresenta-se a perspetiva institucional, recolhida a partir de entrevistas realizadas a oficiais com funções de decisão, logísticas, obtenção e técnicas na gestão do fardamento e a perspetiva pessoal dos militares da Marinha, através do recurso ao inquérito online. Por fim, tecem-se as considerações finais e deixam-se algumas recomendações, de maneira a poder contribuir para a resolução do problema identificado. Abstract: The resources available to organizations are increasingly scarce, requiring that their work be done in a judicious and profitable way for the organization. In this context, it is necessary for organizations to evolve, to adopt alternatives that allow them to manage the available resources in a maximized economic way, efficiency and effectiveness. This work focuses on the use of outsourcing for the uniforms and intends to analyse their use in the process of management of the navy uniform. With this purpose, the current model of uniforms management was analysed, its replacement through the hiring of an outside entity, with experience in the area and how to implement this new business model. The institutional perspective, gathered from interviews with officials with decision-making, logistics, procurement and technical aspects of the management of the uniforms and the personal perspective of the Navy's military, through the use of the online survey, and the vision of a company with international experience in this area of business. Finally, the final considerations are weighed and some recommendations are then left to contribute to solving the identified problem.
