Motivação e Teletrabalho: perceções dos teletrabalhadores portugueses

Com a pandemia da Covid-19 as empresas/organizações procederam à implementação de mudanças provenientes do seu meio envolvente, nomeadamente na inserção do teletrabalho. Com este estudo pretende-se verificar e avaliar o nível de motivação dos teletrabalhadores portugueses, de acordo com as Teorias de Conteúdo, para obter uma visão geral sobre os fatores (vantagens e desvantagens) que têm influência na motivação dos teletrabalhadores, perante a prática do teletrabalho. Pelo que, foi aplicado um questionário online e realizada uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva. Os resultados mostram que os teletrabalhadores se sentem motivados com a prática do teletrabalho. Concluiu-se que, na generalidade, as principais vantagens são: a concordância da poupança de tempo com as deslocações, a redução do stress provocado pelo congestionamento de trânsito e o equilíbrio entre o trabalho e a família. Como fatores menos positivos: a falta de legislação contratual, o trabalhar mais horas que o suposto e o isolamento social; Abstract: Motivation and telework: Perceptions of portuguese teleworkers With the Covid-19 pandemic the companies/organizations proceeded to the implementation of changes coming from their surroundings, namely in the insertion of telework. With this study we intend to verify and evaluate the level of motivation of portuguese teleworkers, according to the Content Theories, to get an overview of the factors (advantages and disadvantages) that have influence on the motivation of teleworkers, before the practice of telework. Therefore, an online questionnaire was applied and an exploratory and descriptive research was carried out. The results show that teleworkers feel motivated by the practice of telework. It was concluded that, in general, the main advantages are: the agreement of saving time with commuting, the reduction of stress caused by traffic congestion and the balance between work and family. Less positive factors were the lack of contract legislation, working longer hours than expected, and social isolation.
