Resumo em Inglês: The research aimed to identify the perception of vulnerability and coping resources used by teenagers on the streets, through qualitative research. Broke the assumptions of Community Social Psychology in relation to its commitment to social reality, by understanding that every human being is produced in its relationship with the social spaces in which they live. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 10 male adolescents aged between 12 and 17 years old, approached the outskirts of squares in the city center of Curitiba-PR. The interviews were subjected to content analysis that guided the organization of data for discussion of categories: migration to the streets; perception of vulnerability; coping strategies based on the problem; and coping strategies based on emotion. We discussed issues related to the reasons given for migration to the streets, like family problems, work on the streets with or without the family and the lack of alternatives in the community of origin adolescents. Coping strategies, although present, were insufficient to promote the transformation of the reality of adolescents in order to reduce risks and experienced guide them to the prospect of life desired by them.
