The present study is part of the Pedagogical Practices research line: articulating elements of the Postgraduate Program - PPGED - Master's and Doctoral Degree in Education of the Tuiuti University of Paraná (UTP). It brings as an object of analysis the contradictory process of production of the Licentiate in Field Education (LEDOC) in Brazil and the multiple determinations in the contest for societary projects. The LEDOC inaugurates a new conception of teacher education, because it denotes a process of collective construction. The structure by areas of knowledge and alternation, has pointed to an educational conception aimed at overcoming the fragmented and disciplinary model of the other training courses for educators and new ways to consolidate the relationship between theory and practice in Higher Education. However, its production is located in a context of contradictions that highlights the hegemony disputes present in Civil and Political Society, this statement led us to the following formulation: What are the internal and external determinations of the LEDOC production process in Brazil, which allows us to recognize the contradictions of this process? These determinations are related to social practice and the relationship between State and Civil Society, driven by the contradiction and struggle for hegemony. In this context, the State, Civil Society, Education and Training of educators constitute the central concepts of the study. It is a general objective of the research: to understand the LEDOCs production process in Brazil since the relation between Civil Society and the State. In order to fulfill this purpose, we outline the specific objectives: to examine subjects and relation of forces in the LEDOC production process; analyze the historical and structural determinants of the origin of LEDOC and the relationship between them; investigate the problems that have recurred in the LEDOCs at the moment of their materialization in the universities and to discuss the contributions of the LEDOCs to the formation of the educators of the field. In relation to method, we rely on Dialectical Historical Materialism, since we presuppose that the theoretical categories allow us to analyze reality and to understand the multiple determinations that produce our object of research (MARX, 1983b). As far as the methodological approach is concerned, the research is carried out by means of a bibliographical and documentary study through the following techniques: a) bibliographical survey and review of the literature produced on the researched topic. b) analysis of documents produced within organized civil society and within the government. We consider that the process of doctoral research has allowed us to recognize that LEDOC is materialized in the contradictory movement of society, education and the State. Because, it is a course generated from the experiences of the workers of the field, but its materiality of execution lies in the institutional sphere of the capitalist state. It expresses a contradictory movement because its materiality of origin is /organically linked to peasant social movements, their cultures, and their organizational forms. This link makes LEDOC an instrument of struggle in the scenario of correlation of forces in the construction of a working class societary project. |
