Resumo em Inglês: The field performance of the professional Pedagogue has been outstanding lately, by the expansion of educational spaces out of the regular education. This expansion causes the inclusion of the debate about the social and educational demands and needs that involve the different contexts of action in the formation of Pedagogues. The objective of this study was to analyze the new requirements for Pedagogues in the educational area out of the regular education, focusing the socio educative program of Curitiba city. It approaches the program to discuss the Social Pedagogy front of the social question as conceptualizes Castel. We used the case study, with the instruments to collect data on semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis to collect data that describe the role of the pedagogue, socio-educative responsibilities, the organization of socio-educational programs, the organization structure curriculum of courses in pedagogy and others. The function of the Pedagogue investigated was the function of a Local Coordinator Teacher of the program concerned. It was found that the demands of work involving diversified knowledge in management, that attend the peculiarities of the program, which spreads as main objective to provide space for leisure, training and culture to the community surrounding the schools. Furthermore, we sought to determine the organization of the Faculty of Education on these new demands. It was found that the courses of a particular institution and public are still focused on the mainstream education and need to be more discussion and training strategies, discussions and studies about the formation and work of teachers for educational spaces that go out of the school walls. The disciplines in these colleges still focus on the regular school and there is little or no emphasis in the supervised disciplines that can work in spaces out of the school. The Pedagogue investigated that serves as a Local Coordinator Teacher studies in training courses that are streamlined and often through Television. Contact that the professional requirements for this area should be treated with due importance to this kind of educational program can be more than just an assistance.
