Resumo: The management and conduct of clinical studies involve a number of rigorously observed and followed activities, particularly regarding to the safety and protection of research subjects, good clinical practices and regulatory laws. Protocol deviations are common, highlighted by several authors, and can be avoided. Based on the problems caused by the variances, a mobile application (app) was created in this study, using the Delphi - RAD Studio XE 10.2 multiplatform tool. This app allows to store, in a confidential way, information about clinical studies, scheduled procedures and provided to aid the oncology clinical research coordinators, avoiding protocol deviations due to lack or forgetfulness of performing procedures. The app was made available on the Android platform from a link sent to the research subjects by e-mail in December 2018. To analyze the benefits, usefulness, ease and quality of the app, 97 participants from all over Brazil answered applicability and usability testing by Google Forms. The results indicated a high acceptance of the target public, considering that 95.2% of the people considered the use of the application interesting in their daily practice and answers like "excellent initiative" were commented. Some indications made by the participants, such as available in virtual stores and iOS platform, are very useful and will be considered in a possible continuity of the project. It was concluded that the application may meets an unmet need and can be of great assistance in the coordination of clinical research in oncology services throughout all over the country.
