Resumo: | The improvement in the performance of rail freight transport systems (STFC) has been demanding several initiatives, with the current focus being the transfer of the performance of manual tasks, to equipment and control centers, according to the fundamentals of industry 4.0, based on “automation” of the processes. However, machines demand a perfect and stable system, as automation does not correct errors during the execution of activities; it needs to happen beforehand, correcting inconsistencies in operational flows and adjusting its integration só that goals are achieved. However, little has been discussed about the improvement prior to the automation process in STFC. Therefore, this project presents a proposal for correction and improvement in the integration of a railway logistics process, including its automation through the implementation of cyber-physical systems and the internet of things. This correction, improvement and modernization focuses on the main processes, focusing on the information flow of the main agents of this structure. For this, the MMFII (Method for improving information flow and integration) will be used in this study, also including the Bizagi Process Modeler tool, interviews and questionnaires. The work shows the application of the method in a real field, detailing the application strategy, the implementation of the proposed resources and the quantitative and qualitative results with the improvement and after the automation of the process. After the application, it was possible to correct the information flow between the tasks performed in the planning and operation sector included in the freight rail delivery process, reducing the delivery time from 191.5 hours to 135.5 hours. In addition, cargo receiving activities at the origin terminal and the sharing of stock information were automated, making the system more efficient. |
