Resumo: | The objective of this study was to develop strategies for inferences and investments in QL and QWL on the dairy industry, using correlation analysis between the variables QL and QWL. The proposed problem was: How to guide investments in QL and QWL in the dairy industry through inferences and analysis of correlation between QL and QWL? The theoretical referential involved the following subjects: QL, style of life, QWL, historical evolution of the QWL, the human being into the productive system and theoretical Base. The methodological approach was inductive, applied, quantitative, descriptive and carried out through a case study form. In the data collection two instruments had been used simultaneously: WHOQOL-100 and an adaptation of the Walton’s model to evaluate the QWL, both applied in 4 types of companies: a very small company (n=7), a small company (n=21), a medium company (n=226) and a big company (n=301). In all 548 collaborators between men and women had been evaluated. The analyzes had involved: variance analysis (ANOVA); identification of outliers; normality; multivaried correlation; correlation; formularization of regression equation, residues analysis and finally the utility test of the regression models. The results showed that the size of the company does not seem to influence the QL, but influence the QWL significantly. 13 significant regression models had been gotten: 8 predicting the general QL in unction of the QWL criteria of and 5 predicting the general QWL in function of the QL domains. It was also possible to determine the variation percentage of the dependant variables explained by the regression models. The significance test of the predictive models verified that the 13 models of regression are useful and all the equations can be used as a 99% confidence. In such a way, it was concluded that all the 8 criteria of QWL have significant correlation with the QL. And, in relation to the general QWL correlation with the 6 domains of QL, only the domain “spirituals aspects and beliefs” did not reach a significant coefficient of correlation. Thus, the criteria “capacity”, “work conditions” and “social integration” offer the biggest influences in the QL index. And the domains “environment”, “psychological” and “physical” had presented the biggest influence in the QWL indexes. Therefore, it is possible to believe that to correlate the QWL and the QL is in accordance to the current premise of people management in the humanistic values rescue at the workstations, therefore it makes possible to evaluate the influence of any QWL criterion about the general QL and inversely, being able to estimate the involvement of the QV domains of the in the general QWL. |
