O enfermeiro na condução da assistência do processo hipertensão/diabetes: a visão do paciente

Resumo: The qualitative research developed regarding the performance of registered nurses, by patients inscribed in a Hypertension/ Diabetes Mellitus Control Program in Ourinhos, with the participation of 46 patients, being half of each gender, ages ranging between 55 and 80 years old, all of them self-sufficient. Semi-structured interviews have been conducted, with seventeen statements being selected and organized in four different categories, with fusion of repetitive statements.The methodology used on the present work was based on Alfred Schutz s phenomenological line.On the categorization of the statements emerged from the interviews, four slopes have been chosen in order to conduct the study s determining assumptions, as follows: importance of the link between patient and nurse, patients expectations regarding the relationship with the nurse, the relationship on the service s process and the importance of health education and technical orientation received.During the interviews analysis it has been verified that the patients attribute great importance to humanized treatment along with the nurse, being noticed and valued as individuals in need of trust on his/hers technical and scientific abilities, who notice the non-conformities when attended in a partial way without personal involvement and who wish to learn more about their own sickness and conduction of their own treatment in a simplified language at their comprehension s reach
