The use of non-formal environments for the purpose of developing learning is a little explored practice as a teaching-learning strategy in formal education. In order to achieve meaningful results in terms of learning, a good understanding of the functions, the functioning and the didactic-pedagogical potentialities of the different non-formal spaces for formal education is necessary. The objective of this work was to investigate and present the didactic - pedagogical potential of non - formal spaces existing in the Jahu River Basin for Environmental Education in Early Childhood Education, through a qualitative and quantitative research, investigating the existing sites, applying a questionnaire to the teachers of Infant Education and, finally, proposes a survey of non-formal spaces for the practice of AE in Child Education in the Jahu River Basin.
