Resumo: |
Family farming plays an essential role in Brazil’s economy since it is responsible for great part of the country food production. Due to it, it is essential that government fundings reach this segment to encourage the development of the family farming as business as well as the agriculture sector in Brazil. In order to offer socioeconomic enhancement to family farmers through loans and to promote socio economic development in Northeast, North of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, Banco do Nordeste do Brazil Inc., in 2005, launched the Rural Microcredit Program - Agroamigo. This program presents an exclusive and innovative method that promotes the interaction of all parts involved in the program to achieve the final goal. The methodology applied by the Agroamigo program is known in the literature as one of the main characteristics that bases Ludwig Von Bertalanffy’s General System Theory. The general objective of this research is to analyse systematically the Agroamigo operationalization methodology in Pombos, city of Pernambuco State. For this purpose, it was necessary to identify the socio-economic profile of the program loans recipient, as well as to describe the steps of the program’s methodology to, later, determine if there is integration between the institutions that participates in the program, also among them and the recipients. The final product was analyzed through a quantitative and qualitative methodology and also through a descriptive and exploratory approach of a case study done in a field research. As a final result it was found that the Agroamigo program, while needs more interaction among its parts, can be considered as an open system. And that is because the ones participating in the methodology’s systemic process in the Agroamigo program are, in a way, able to work in an integrative way to reach the program’s final goal. |
