This dissertation aims to evaluate the potential of HQ workshops as a didactic resource for the appropriation of historical knowledge in educational spaces. In order to do so, we carried out three educational actions, two in a basic education institution (Colégio Imaculado Coração de Maria) and another in higher education (Federal University of Pernambuco). The work-shops were held with the consent of both and presented diverse but satisfactory results. The methodology used was based on bibliographical research, besides documentary analysis. We used as a research source the notes written in sketchbooks, photographs and the productions in comics made during the unfolding of the workshops. We also focus on movies, animations, professional comics and YouTube content, as well as images extracted from web-sites and blogs. We conclude that the author's production of comics in the classroom can be an excellent didactic resource for the appropriation of historical contents, which can also stimulate the students' creativity and investigative character. |
