Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the level of acceptance and use of the SIPAC system implemented in IFAL. The methodology used was an exploratory, descriptive and documentary case study, with qualitative-quantitative approaches. We applied interviews and questionnaires based on the UTAUT Theory of Venkatesh et al., (2003) to the workers of Prorectory of Administration. The collection took place between October 30 and November 24, 2017, in total 46 servers (93.8%) participated in the survey. For the analysis of the results, we used content analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential analysis through non-parametric Mann Whitney tests. The results showed that, in a general way, SIPAC is used and accepted by most of the servers / users of the Pro-Rector's Office. In the view of managers, SIPAC brought the following benefits: computerization of sectors (where jobs were done manually), greater time optimization in the execution of the work, faster process localization, increased productivity, integration of internal processes, better quality and agility in decision making and greater visibility for the institution. The descriptive analyzes of the questionnaires were also signaled by the acceptance of the system by most of the teams investigated, since in all constructs of the UTAUT theory the percentages of the answers that pointed to use and acceptance were above 50%, and the construct expects effort as the main facilitator of the use of the SIPAC system, since 80.5% of the respondents agreed that using the system is easy or free of extra effort. The Mann Whitney tests, where they were considered (P <0.05) of significance, showed, in general, few significant differences. The significant results were: it was evidenced a greater understanding for male servers that the institution offers the necessary conditions and infrastructure for the use of SIPAC; that technical assistance is different between the areas investigated, especially when there are difficulties with the SIPAC system, and also that users with less time with systems (up to 5 years) are the ones that have received the most support from the institution and its superiors ; in relation to the time of use with the SIPAC system. In addition to the previous factors, it was verified that the servers as more time of use of the system have greater ease in its operation, use the system more quickly and have greater productivity in the work. Finally, through the constant analysis of the results, it was also possible to relate the main barriers and difficulties in relation to the acceptance and use of SIPAC that were pointed out by the managers: absence and / or low level of training, initial resistances linked to the culture, underutilization of the system, delay in technical support, lack of standardization of information, systematization, communication and in the implementation and updating of the modules. However, it should be noted that the investments made with the SIPAC system increased the productivity of its servers, generated a better quality and agility in serving the students and the population, bringing greater visibility and credibility to the institution.
