Resumo: The present research aims to analyze how the Brazilian Literature of female authorship is worked on the 9th grade textbook of the Portuguese Collection: Languages of the Elementary Education of the writers William Roberto Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães, at the Abdias Bezerra State School, Ribeirópolis, SE That the Brazilian Literature of female authorship is one of the ways to train critical readers in elementary school. We analyze the literary texts present in this book from a didactic technical perspective. The Brazilian Literature of female authorship is relegated to the background because historiography has always been done by men. Women writers are forgotten by a critical patriarchal order. The result of this research shows us the focus given to the Brazilian Literature of female authorship in this didactic book of Portuguese Language, and, thus, leads us to reflect on the need to promote literary literacy in Elementary School.
