Resumo: |
The objective of this work was to evaluate the agroclimatic potential and to characterize the climatic risks zoning for citros production in Agreste Pernambuco State. Climatics data inside and next to the area of study was been used. Monthly average precipitations of 100 weather station with series of data above of 20 years of registers was been used. Places that did not make use of data, average temperature was estimate for software Estima_T version 2.0. in the elaboration the water balance climatological, the method of Thornthwaite & Mather (1955) was used, being adopted a capacity of available water (CAD) of 50 and 100 mm, and by using the Thornthwaite method to estimate the evapotranspiration for the method of Thornthwaite (1948). The ISNA (crop water requirement index) was determined using a water balance software (BHnorm 6.1). Values of production of citrus of the available IBGE in the Base of Data of Pernambuco - BDE had been compared with areas defined for the zoning for results validation. The annual variation of the temperature with low 16.4 °C and maxim of 33.4 °C is not considered a limit factor for the production ofcitros in the region. In Agreste of Pernambuco State 50 counties are in the desirable region, with small climatic risk, 16 in the intermediate region, with average risk and 5 in the undesirable region, with high risk climatic and high water deficit. Agroclimatic more twelve thousand Km2 than are favorable for citros, a significant territory to be explored, so much to enlarge areas already productive that today they add less than 0,5% of that total, as also to implant new areas. |
