Resumo: |
The experiment was conducted in the goat and sheep industry, Department of Animal Science UFRPE, with the aim of evaluating the results of thermal comfort and adaptability to heat in Saanen goats, pregnant women in two seasons, certain physiological parameters through the rectal temperature and respiratory rate of these animals, which were three daily collections three times a week and by environmental dry bulb temperature (DBT), wet bulb temperature (WBT), black globe temperature (BGT ) that were collected daily at and 7h with an interval of two hours, and also collected the maximum and minimum temperature at 17h. We performed a multiple linear regression analysis, using the physiological variables, considering the two seasons, time of day and day of gestation the animals in that analysis. Rectal temperature and respiratory rate of the goats were affected by time of day and day of gestation, both in summer and autumn, the hours of 14 hours was more stressful for animals that from 7 am to 19 pm and the animals did not recover the thermal balance at 19 hours. |
