Resumo: |
Genotypes with high yield, stability and large adaptability to different environmental conditions are the main goals in a breeding program. However, such objectives could face difficulties due to variability of genotypes and their behaviors in respect to environmental conditions. Peanut crop has a large genetic plasticity and its yield depends on environment. In Pernambuco state, Brazil, just low studies have been carried out with this crop aiming to define cultivars recommended to different regions of the state. Cultivar recommendation depends on researches carried out in several places and different years for further estimative of its yield potential and adaptability to environment studied. In this work, adaptability and stability parameters of nine upright peanut genotype were estimated carried on in three regions of Pernambuco state, aiming further cultivar recommendation. In addition, chemical analysis were carried out in canopy dry matter and shells, considering the potential of these materials as forage resource. Pod and seed yields data were utilized to adaptability and stability studies based on Eberhart & Russel (1966) methodology. These data were obtaining from assays carried on eight environments, during two years. As to chemical analyses, production of canopy and shell dry matter were evaluated andalso crude protein, minerals and fiber contents. The results of this research showed that BR1, BRS Havana, BRS 151 L7, CNPA 280 AM e L7 Beje showed high pod and seed production, with yield averages of 3.106 Kg/ha and 2.068 Kg/ha, respectively. However, taking in account all parameters studied, BRS 151 L7 showed high production, adaptability and stability to environmental conditions evaluated. BR 1,BRS Havana and L7 Beje were also adapted and stables, but just to seed yield. As to chemical aspect, BRS 151 L7, L7 Beje and BR 1 showed high forage potential. In a general way, BRS 151 L7 is the most recommended to environment studied, both in stability in pod and seed yield and also as additional resource of dry mater to forage. |
