Resumo: In relation of Technology, the software development is an area that is in constant change, through the emergence of new technologies, processes and market competition, and for this, companies need to adapt to changes. And in relation to the software development in the requirements area, at the stage of elicitation is very important to comprehend the requirements to offer effective solutions. For this, a case study was carried out, applying the Design Thinkingapproach, to perform the elicitation of requirements in a Remote and Distributed Work environment for a customer of a trade that needed to adapt to the changes that have been taking place. The data analyzed were through the deliverables from activities and demographic questionnaire. The results obtained suggest that it was possible to carry out the activities developed during the design thinking phases, which were Immersion, Ideation and Prototyping, where all activities and communication were remotely and through the Moodle Virtual Environment. It was observed that the persons, even without experience with the concepts addressed of Design Thinking, were able toperform all the phases worked and presented solutions to the presented problem. In relation to the concepts worked and the way of working in a remote and distributed environment, proved to be efficient because the persons were able to perform all the activities, and through the analysis of the questionnaire it could be observed that it was possible to use the Design Thinking approach to elicitate requirements in a Remote and Distributed Work environment.
