Group studies have been important in the face of human aging when looking for women's experiences, because the elderly woman has a history of vulnerabilities, and reframe the age pervades the capacity of autonomy and psychosocial support. In this sense, the process of aging it by requiring alternative spaces such as peer groups should be considered in terms of longevity and their demands, providing and encouraging these women to transition from invisibility to the condition of the protagonists in the resizing of a new age. However, this process is heterogeneous and subjective. So, from that understanding, with the objective of knowing the meaning that a group of elderly women attaches to share moments of experience with their peers in the process of living and aging and reveal the meanings of the experience of living and aging for women participants a proposal open for seniors university, this study was characterized by a field survey of the qualitative descriptive exploratory approach performed in a group of living in the city of Passo Fundo. The study population consisted of elderly women enrolled in the three groups of Emotions Workshop Dialoging. Data were collected through a personal interview with one of the older groups, using the topic as a strategy guide, who attended the theme: conversations between women and their meanings in the experience of living and aging in the group, and validated through technique workshop with the other two elderly groups. What emerged underwent content analysis to classify elements by features and categories: living and aging in the group: the voice of the elderly, the group as a place of belonging and empowerment and self modified: looking at each other and themselves.
