Resumo: |
This study proposes an analysis of the constitution of female characters in the work Girl, Woman, Others, by author Bernardine Evaristo, under the lens of feminist theories, with special attention to the perspectives of intersectional feminism. To this end, we selected five characters as the corpus of analysis for this research among the twelve presented by the author, investigated in light of the theoretical assumptions of classical feminism by Beauvoir, Butler and Perrot, and intersectional feminism based on the writings of Collins, Davis and hooks. By addressing these aspects, this dissertation aimed not only to understand the complexity of female characters in the narrative, but also to contribute to a broader reflection on the intersections of gender, race and class in the context of contemporary literary production. |
