Resumo: |
Chronic diseases are considered the main causes of disability among the elderly. Amidst these disorders, Parkinson's disease (PD) above, has been the subject of great concern therefore generates an impact on quality of life. Thus, a psychological evaluation with valid and reliable instruments becomes important for understanding thepsychic dynamics involved in this disease process and thus able to assist these patients in fighting the disease with more effective measures. However, although there is a progressive increase in population, the research validity with self-expression tools, such as Zulliger, are nonexistent. Therefore, the present work aimed to demonstrate the validity of Zulliger test in the evaluation of elderly patients with DP. Notably, scientific, original dissertation, titled "" aimed to demonstrate the validity of ZSC focusing on the self-perception constructs and “ Zulliger Validity evidence with elderly with Parkinson's disease”. Participants composed two groups, namely a group of 30 elderly people with PD, called clinical group (GC) and another group of 31 elderly people free of the disease, non-clinical group entitled (GNC). Was used as instruments: the socio-demographic and health protocol, the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Zulliger test on the Comprehensive System (ZSC).The data of structural ZSC summary were stored in Excel spreadsheet and exported to a statistical Package file for Social Sciences - SPSS, version 22.0, for statistical analysis. For added reliability of ZSC data, conducted the analysis of Kappa coefficient. To compare the differences between the two groups (CG and CNG) and the variables of ZSC (self-awareness and interpersonalrelationships), we used the Mann Whitney U test. To check the correlations between the Zulliger variables in GC and age, income, education level, disease severity and time of diagnosis, we used the Spearman ordinal correlation. Was considered as statistically significant tests with p <0.05 and to calculate the effect size was used old Cohen. GC showed an increase of variables Hd - Human Detail of answers (p = 0.02, d = 0.50), MOR - Morbid content (p = 0.025, d = - 0.62) Sum V - Response Shaded (p = 0.016, d = - 0.72) Fd - Food Response (p = 0.021, d = - 0.61) and demotion in (Hd) - Details Parachute Human Response (p = 0.012, d = 0.65) and PER - Custom answers (p = 0.003, d = 0.48), denoting a negative self-perception and difficulties in relationships. There was a positive association between the variables Zulliger and age, income, severity of disease, and a negative association with the time of diagnosis. These results confirm the validity of the ZSC as a valid tool for understanding the psychic dynamicsof elderly people with PD and stimulate new studies. |
