Agribusiness is one of the strongest sectors of the Brazilian economy, that segment was driven decades ago by developed countries who have entered the modern technique in the field (mechanization, introduction of genetically modified organisms, use of chemical industrial inputs - pesticides and fertilizers, etc.). Today the widespread use of pesticides in plantations became mandatory elevating the country as a major producer of agricultural products. However, in recent decades the company became concerned with the consequences of the indiscriminate use of pesticides. Studies have shown the harmful consequences brought to the environment, the health of farm workers and end consumers for these products. Thus we are faced with a problem whose magnitude and complexity goes beyond a single discipline, which forces us to restrict the scope of study. In this case, we chose to analyze the problems involved in the environmental pesticide contamination and effects on the health of farm workers. Study the suitability of Brazilian legislation, the reality in the field, as well as the resolutions and guidelines of international organizations. At the same time will check the performance of the supervisory bodies, flaws in many ways, as we shall see. It is also intended, albeit preliminarily, listening to the various attempts, but the solution, at least for alternatives to alleviate this major problem in view of the fundamental health and rights ecologically balanced environment.
