Resumo: | Soil erosion by water is a complex process, which is recognized to be the result of interactions between a number of factors, such as climate, soil properties, topography, and the effects of surface vegetation and soil management. Upon such complexity, the aim of this study was to determine hydraulic characteristics of runoff, erodibility in grooves and the critical shear stress of a Alfisol considering two distinct positions of the landscape: in the convex and concave. Six pre-formed rills were installed at the top and transport foot action and subjected to artificial rainfall of 78 mm hr-1 for 60 minutes and then the rain additional three streams 19, 36 and 44 L min-1, lasting 20 minutes. The Alfisol the erodibility values of rill erodibility (Kr) in the convex positions are lower than the sediment concave position, 0.0053 kg N-1 s-1 and 0.0146 kg N-1 s-1 respectively, while the critical shear stress values are 2.1887 N m-2 on the convex and 2.7260 N m-2 in the concave |
