Resumo: | The quality management in the mechanized agricultural operations is essential to reduce the variability intrinsic to the same and can, in a way, improve the analysis and interpretation of results, so as to develop a plan to more efficient improvements. Based on the concept that quality planning targets is a factor to be achieved, the management of harvesting sugarcane has a higher reliability of the results, the indicators that affect the process are detected, a lower incidence of errors type I and II in control charts and, finally, the use of a charts template which fits best for each situation. In this sense, aimed to the present work apply a systemic quality management in mechanized harvesting operation billets and commercial sugarcane, in order to define critical indicators of quality, specific pattern of rigor of analysis and define a control chart template for the better management of harvest. The experiment was conducted in the agricultural area of a production plant sugarcane in the municipality of Frutal - MG. The data analysis was based on statistical quality control, failure mode and effect analysis, control charts and levels of capability processes. There are seven critical quality indicators, while the height of cut, damage index, the percentage of buds and unviable working speed of analysis have greater importance because of the risk priority index and ease of data collection for analysis. The quality indicators speed and fuel consumption of time are more probability occurrence of error type when using the value three (3σ) in combination with standard deviation.
