Resumo: The healing of the skin is the purpose of study and research, due to its clinical, scientific and economic interest, mainly due to the high frequency of wounds caused by injuries in horses. The wound healing is a physiological phenomenon which starts from the loss of skin integrity, generating a continuous flow that reaches the underlying layers to different degrees and depends on a series of chemical reactions (Bertone, 1989). Several factors influence healing after traumatic or surgical injury. Wounds below the knee or hock in horses are a problem, even in healthy animals. However, this difficulty does not occur in the upper part of the body, this can be explained by low blood supply low oxygenation, lower temperatures and an imbalance of growth (DYSON, 1997) factors. It is essential in tissue repair a rich source of growth factors. Platelets act in hemostasis, wound healing, re-epithelialization, releasing several growth factors that stimulate angiogenesis, growth promoters and proliferation of fibroblasts which in turn provides an increase in collagen synthesis, the PRP being a natural source and secure because it is the animal's own plasma (DYSON, 1997). This study aims to evaluate horses induced with a solution of continuity, wound on the dorsal surface of the metacarpal region of the forelimb, where 6 animals of the equine species, SRD were used, with treatment as the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) saline and centrifuged. The animals will be evaluated by clinical, morphometric, histopathological and immunohistochemical reviews for 30 days
