Resumo: | The aim of this work was to investigate the ideological character of the Pedagogy of Competences and the political meaning of its incorporation by brazilian public policies of education, specially during the national educational system reform in the 1990's. For this purpose, was analized the National Curriculum Parameters, a set of documents that serve as the underlying guidance to the curricular subjects adopted by schools and the organization of the educational system. The main hypothesis is that the educational system is a technological apparatus which works like a social dispositif for the administration of human formation. In this dispositif, the Pedagogy of Competences implies a pedagogical translation of the capitalist ideology of the competition as a basic way of socialization. The theoretical background of this work was provided by the Critical Theory, according to the ideas of the first generation of the so called Frankfurt School, with a dialectical methodology approach and the support of Objective Hermeneutics and History of Concepts, which features this work as a political sociology of education |
