Resumo: | This research has as its central theme large-scale evaluations in Brazil and their relationship with the pedagogical practices of teachers in basic education. When observing the IDEB data of the Paraná’s counties, we noticed a significant difference between the results obtained by the state education network in comparison to the counties. Therefore, the present research has the objective of through the analysis of the contextual questionnaires of Prova Brasil, to identify and analyze pedagogical practices used by teachers from both education networks, in order to identify factors that can contribute to the obtained indexes. In terms of organization, the research presents large-scale assessments with a focus on SAEB, discussing the concept of educational quality today, presenting basic education assessment policies, provides relevant information for understanding the data collected through contextual questionnaires and presents the data collected by INEP and made available by the QEdu website, in order to make it possible to compare the results obtained by the state and municipal networks of the state of Paraná, relating them to the pedagogical practice through the context questionnaires from Prova Brasil to a set of municipalities in the western region of Paraná. The research, which is based on four municipalities that are members of the Associação dos Municípios do Oeste do Paraná (AMOP). We used the official indexes from the state and counties, as well as the context questionnaires of Prova Brasil in the municipalities of Catanduvas, Céu Azul, Guaraniaçu and Santa Tereza do Oeste. Besides the content and data analysis, bibliographic and documentary review also played an important role in this work. Through the research it was possible to analyze and perceive significant differences between the pedagogical practice of teachers from the state education network in comparison to the county cities covered. The study identified possible differentiating factors in the performance of these networks in large scale assessments. |
