Resumo: Through the development of this research, we sought to present the urban living conditions of the residents of the Padre Ulrico neighborhood, located in one of the poorest peripheral areas of the city of Francisco Beltrão / PR. In this sense, we tried to guide this study from two central themes: the Socio-spatial Segregation process and the struggle for the Right to the City. For the development of this research, a theoretical framework was constructed from big names in Urban Geography such as Carlos (2007; 2003); Castells (1983); Gottidiener (1997); Harvey (2012); Lefebvre (2001); Sposito (2011), Préteceille (2004); Vasconcelos (2013) and others. Thus, the main concepts mentioned above were analyzed in order to deepen this knowledge, as well as to focus more closely on the area of study, the neighborhood of Padre Ulrico. For that, it was believed to be essential to present the history of creation and development of the neighborhood, in order to help to think that reality. In addition, an attempt was made to analyze the main existing urban legislations, seeking to know its basic principles and the distancing of its implementations in the analyzed reality. As a sequence of our work, a physical and spatial characterization of the neighborhood was presented, in the sense of identifying the existing urban infrastructures in that place. It is believed to be extremely important to present the socioeconomic data about the neighborhood in order to compare and analyze the levels of urban living conditions of its population. In this sense, data collection was done with the municipal secretaries of Francisco Beltrão, with the objective of collecting socioeconomic data about the neighborhood. In addition to the data collected, interviews were conducted with the residents and popular leaders of the neighborhood, who presented themselves extremely important to the history of the neighborhood, and allowed to take notice of the main aspirations and propositions that these are dedicated to seeking, to guarantee the improvement of living conditions for the population of the neighborhood. The main objective of this work was to visualize, compare and reflect on the process of socio-spatial segregation and the struggle for the right to a fairer and less unequal city. In this sense, it can be concluded from the development of this work that the neighborhood of Padre Ulrico still suffers from an intense process of socio-spatial segregation, which is directly related to its formation process. However, it is observed that there is still a long way to build the right to a quality city for the residents of the neighborhood. The union of the community and the municipal public power is necessary, so that the Right to the City can be achieved
