Resumo: Post-discharge care for children born prematurely needs to be strongly established in a programmed and effective way with the involvement of health professionals from primary and specialized care, since this segment may require attention beyond that offered to children of the same age, as they have complex care needs. In view of this, there is a need to evaluate primary health care services to monitor the care of children, particularly premature babies, especially in areas of greater vulnerability, such as international border regions. The aim of this study was to validate the content of the Qualiprematuro guide on evaluating the quality of follow-up care for premature infants in Primary Health Care. The methodological approach adopted was the Delphi Technique for content validation, organized in two stages. The first involved the participation of 17 judges (nurses, Masters and PhDs) with experience in child health. The second involved 20 nurses working in Primary Health Care services in a Brazilian municipality located in the triple border region. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to evaluate the content. In the content validation stage by judges, the coefficient was 0.989, and among the domains it was above 0.957. When checking for clarity (second stage), the Cronbach's alpha coefficient showed satisfactory agreement between the questions, with a scale of of 0.993 and in the distribution between the domains, all alpha coefficients above 0.876. Throughout the content validation process, recommendations were made by the participants, especially by the judges (17) of the first stage, resulting in the exclusion of one question from Domain I, going from 11 to ten questions, and the total number of questions from 65 to 64 requiring readjustment of the score for the first domain. It is concluded based on statistical evidence that the content of Qualiprematuro was considered validated. The representativeness of the evaluation guide was highlighted with regard to theoretical understanding and practical potential of caring for children born prematurely within the scope of primary health care.
