Resumo: The present study aims to analyze the perceived quality and the experiences lived by the visitors in the family farms that develop rural tourism, as a way to add value to tourist activities. Through a qualitative and quantitative approach, a systematic review was carried out that gave rise to the article already published and which integrates this study in chapter three, in order to find studies that addressed the proposed theme. Regarding the objectives, it was a descriptive research and as for the procedures, the first phase was a focus group research and the second phase was a survey. In the first phase, the research was descriptive, with a qualitative approach, an intentional nonprobabilistic research, with the data taken from the speeches of the focus group. In the second phase of the study, the data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire, through the survey research procedure, with a quantitative approach and the sample was probabilistic. To perform the analysis of the data of the first phase, a qualitative analysis software, the Iramuteq software, was used, which facilitated the process, and helped in the organization and separation of information and analysis of data in relation to the focus group. In the second phase, the data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 and STATA software. It was concluded that the construct of the economy of experience and perceived quality is positively related to the construct of value addition and through the reports of the focus group identified the touristic potential that the Sabiá Circuit has, although it is necessary to make investments and improvements, a deficiency that was perceived that will add value to properties that develop rural tourism. Rural tourism highlights the economic, social and cultural importance of a given location and is related to the constructs, memories, emotions and feelings that the products awaken habits and customs that led visitors to recall unforgettable moments that they had already experienced and were also experienced proven by the questionnaire respondents. Contributions to those visited, as a way of adding value to tourist activities, are necessary for investments and improvements to be made, such as, for example, identification of the place with signs and signage, dissemination of what is possible to enjoy on the spot, expanding tourism activities rural, training for those visited, standardization with uniforms and hygiene materials and safety equipment, internal controls for costs and expenses and the use of social networks for scheduling visits.
