Resumo: This study starts from the premise that bodies are normalized to attend the necessities of the dominant class of a specific mode of production. And that, in a capitalist society, the school presents itself as an important ideological state apparatus of the Bourgeois state that contributes to the normalization of the bodies in order to fulfill the demands of the capitalist mode of production. Under this light, the subject of this research is the Base Nacional Curricular Comum or Common National Curricular Base, in a loose translation - BNCC, sanctioned in 2018, since it is a guideline to the educational work in every Brazilian school. Thus, it was sought to analyze in which ways the School, guided by the BNCC, contributes to te normalization of the bodies. The adopted methodological guidance stands on the basis of the Dialectical and Historical Materialism. For this purpose, the chosen methodology was the bibliographical and documentary research. The present dissertation therefore concludes that the School, in a capitalist society, tends to form normalized bodies with well defined gender roles for men and women, allowing only the heterosexuality as the “ideal” sexual orientation and thus maintaining the exploitation of work and the wealth accumulation by the bourgeoisie.
