Resumo: The object of this dissertation is the Cresol Institute, with an emphasis on Financial Education Strategies, a process that aims to educate children, young people, adults and the elderly. The general objective is to describe and understand the historical and practical aspects of Cresol's Financial Education Strategy from 2018 to 2022. The problematizing questions that guide this theoretical exercise are: What context made it possible to structure Cresol at municipal, state and national level? To what extent have the actions and projects developed by Cresol contributed to the education of those involved in the Financial Education Strategy? What direct and indirect results can be seen since the Institute was set up? What is the contribution of financial education to the formation of individuals? The methodology is based on a descriptive, documentary and bibliographical study. The results show that the actions related to Cresol's financial education strategy make a positive contribution to the education and training of those involved. We see that knowledge about financial education is necessary in a society of exacerbated consumption, which is why we believe that awareness is Cresol's parameter for the coming years, in the context of cooperativism. The bibliographical references serve as support for the study of non-formal educational activities, which in this case highlight the importance of the Institute as an educational opportunity for the people it serves.
