Resumo: | The study sought to answer the following question: Do inter-institutional relations (Triple Helix) favor the organizational development of Brazilian fish farming? For that, the theories were used as theoretical reference: Triple Helix and Planned Behavior. The study was descriptive with a cross-section in three moments of the International Fish Congress event, in 2021, held in the city of Foz do Iguaçu/PR. The study did not consider the evolution of the data over time. The population surveyed were 328 participants. The tested hypotheses, linked to the study's question, were whether inter-institutional relations (Triple Helix) favor/not favor the organizational development of Brazilian fish farming. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with 18 questions with the Likert scale of agreement, distributed in the variables: intention, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and self- identity. Data were treated using six sequenced statistical analyses: 1) Cronbach's Alpha Analysis; 2) Exploratory Factor Analysis; 3) Spearman correlation test; 4) Descriptive Boxplot Analysis; 5) Paired Comparison Analysis; 6) Analysis of Social Relations. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews with representatives of the University, Government and Industry dimensions. Typing each segment investigated in this research, the University was represented by professionals from Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Institutions; industry, by decision makers and business owners; and representatives of national, regional and local governments. The managerial contribution of the study was the identification of fundamental methods for the construction of agile, plural and consensual information. The social contribution consisted of synergy and democratization to solve problems related to the sector. The theoretical contribution is the proposition of statistical modeling for the intersection of the Triple Helix theory with the theory of Planned Behavior. The main results revealed the favor between industry, university and government, which allows the transfer of technologies, the elaboration of effective normative and promotion policies and instigates the resolution of market needs and environmental sustainability. The results made it possible suggestion of a planning and its inter- institutional strategies for Brazilian fish farming. |
