Resumo: | This work is proposed to analyze the use of the argumentative operator and within opinionated texts. We want to see what functions the operator has to build referrals argumentative. The corpus that makes up this research includes 14 texts of opinionated content, authored by Arnaldo Jabor, extracted from the book “Pornopolítica: paixões e taras da vida brasileira”. For the analysis, we approach Quirk and Greenbaum (1985), for which the conjunction relationship marked down certain “duties” in accordance with the process arguments in the sentences. This process would be accomplished through morphemes that serve to bring the arguments to have a relation of greater or lesser force to a certain conclusion. The analysis takes the various profiles of and in which there is the quest for membership of the other. For authors who study connective and argumentativity, there are language mechanisms that can be used in structuring the text do direct the argument. Thus, the functions assumed by an element of the size of the task and help to bring about different effects of meaning, which are variable just by looking at the apparent neutrality of this connector. It is expected, with this research, to contribute to the understanding of the functions that the connectors admit, specially on the argumentative orientation on opinionated texts |
