Resumo: | This transdisciplinary research based on Complexity Theory fills epistemological gaps on the sociolinguistic constitution of the political name in the cities of Cascavel (PR) and Ponta Grossa (PR), focusing on the sociocognitive description of the linguistic formation of the ballot-name, especially the name chosen by the candidate for the office of councilor. There is the purpose of exploring the ballot box names - a subcategory of people's first names (anthroponyms) - as a conceptual metonymy and an interactional implicature: a singular, meaningful and communicative sign of a social identity linguistically marked by the expression of craft or belonging/affinity to a certain family/socially favorable group. To arrive at such a conceptual perspective, based on a sociological deepening of the Relevance Theory in communion with Durkheim's social theory of attachment and Giddens' and Morin's recursiveness, there is a bibliographical journey that weaves relationships among epistemologies of the human sciences: Anthroponomastic, Linguistics, Sociology, History, Anthropology etc. The theoretical intersections proposed are allied to the synchronous evaluation of the phenomenon of political self-nomination from the quali-quant analysis of the common ballot box names for the 2020 southern election. Confronting the synchronous analysis with the bibliographical visitation regarding the self-nomination and renomination in Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman societies, the recursiveness of signs arising from the self nomination (effect) as an expression of a socio-identity change (cause) associated, generally, with the craft - a phenomenon that confirms the relationship between the centrality of work for adult life and for corporate groupings by bond/affinity - is proved. The conclusions of the linguistic analyses of the ballot box names allow a regional clipping of the descriptive and communicative value of such a sign: its composition of secondary and official order generally occurs by brief suppressions of elements of the orthonym (civil name) or by such suppressions added to a lexicon of metonymic order that inserts lexicological marks of belonging to the prename or surname kept, such as the presence of preposition and common or proper nouns associated explicitly or implicitly with the office: "professor", "from Telepar", "Dr. Henrique" etc.: this majority formation is called "Maintenance of the civil name". The total change of the orthonym is uncommon, indicating a preference for keeping the civil name. Candidates who propose the total repetition of the orthonym may present a past political life, making the last name a sign rich in meaning. The description with a regional bias combined with previous literature and the historical immersion of the self-naming process benefits the interdisciplinary studies about naming and socializes a critical-descriptive section of the relations between self naming/renaming and the Brazilian political space. Although limited to two municipalities in Paraná, it is expected that the descriptive proposal of the communication of the ballot names will be important for society to know argumentative strategies implicit in the anthroponymic sign, serving to raise awareness among voters and to strengthen the Brazilian democratic system |
