Resumo: | This research project has as object of study the occupation of the families of the area called Jardim Gramado, located in the São Cristóvão neighborhood in the East region, in Cascavel / PR. The movement allowed the maintenance of several families affected by the housing problem for approximately 18 years. The antagonistic relations between the landowners and the occupants of the urban space are investigated through the struggle, resistance and organization of the families in order to remain in possession of the aforementioned private area, located in a region valued by the real estate market. The approach is scientific and runs through the critical method of dialectical historical materialism. The methodological course will be through qualitative research through interviews with social subjects. Theoretical categories are property, urbanization, the right to housing, the right to the city, and the social conflicts of struggle and resistance to access and secure an urban space with housing characteristics, and finally, the way that the state, through policies acts to realize or not, constitutionally enshrined fundamental rights. |
