Resumo: | As society evolves, development often runs into the bottlenecks in logistics infrastructure. In this scenario, it is observed the great relevance of rural roads in regional development, since the agricultural production flow and the receipt of inputs for the development of agricultural activities initially go through these routes, as well as providing the mobility of people and services that move between rural and urban areas and vice-versa. However, much of the rural road system does not meet the minimum traffic conditions, which imply significant losses in production and competitiveness of Brazilian agricultural products. Thus, the research problem that this paper intends to answer is: How to assess the trafficability of non-paved roads in a quick, simplified and less subjective way? The main objective is applying a methodology for analyzing the trafficability of rural roads that contributes to regional development. The main pathological manifestations affecting the quality of roads in the region were identified as the absence of drainage systems and the non-bulging of the roadbed (cross section), the absence of gravel as a rolling surface, or the existence of loose aggregates, potholes, wheel tracks, corrugations and dust. We evaluated 320.2km of roads in the municipality of Toledo / PR. The stretches where the quality of the rural roads were measured are mostly (48.9%) as Excellent and Good (41.1%). For the municipality of Ouro Verde do Oeste / PR, 186.9km of roads were evaluated, and most of them were rated Good (33%) and Regular (40%) of the evaluated road segments. Subsequently, the data obtained was spatialized so that they contribute to the visualization of the concentration of the worst quality segments, and can serve as a support tool for public and private management, improving the planning of it, since it can schedule regular maintenance and increasing the life of these structures. |
