This dissertation presents a research which has as main theme the university social responsibility (USR) over graduates from Unilasalle/Canoas. The problem of the research is: what’s the viability of the social responsibility manage process in the context of the university? It has as general objective analyze the viability of construction of a panel of indicators of the USR evaluation, starting from the accompaniment of La Salle/Canoas graduates. The method used for the investigation is characterized by a quality-quantity, exploratory descriptive approach. The technical procedure is a documental research that counts with institutional documents analyses, in special the Graduated Research Report (quantifying study) and the Graduated Panel (qualitative study made by focalized groups). Regarding the Technique of analysis, content analysis was predominantly used, according to Bardin (2009), and for the quantitative data, descriptive statistics. The results enabled the identification of five categories concerned to USR: 1) Social Responsibility concept, 2) Ways of responsible action, 3) Social Responsibility construction, 4) Unilasalle’s role, 5) Unilasalle’s consolidation of the USR. Starting from the considerations of identified categories, it was possible to affirm that the USR, in a managing perspective, presents itself as viable to the Higher Education institutions. |
