Resumo: |
This dissertation approaches the economic and technical concepts about the potentiality of the biodiesel production in the State of Bahia, regarding its aspects in the supply diversity of inputs and also related to the economic analysis of it respective production costs. The Brazilian Federal Government created a program to estimulate the biodiesel production, called PROBIODIESEL, reflecting its directives in the State program, and that became the first step to the biodiesel regulation in the national territory, culminating in the present laws that standardize the production activity. The historical landmarks of the evolution in the world energy matrix reveals in what context the biodiesel production was developted, linked to economic and political interests, and also, the way the Brazilian economy is behaving to accompany the evolution. The State of Bahia has some of the most importants inputs to the biodiesel production in large scale, resulting in a favorable condition, in a near future, to call attention of the national market, with direct impact in other sectors of the economy, creating jobs and income in the region. In a way to understand the potential to develop a biodiesel production chain in the State of Bahia, it will be displayed a comparation between the government development proposal (PROBIODIESEL) with technical facts and experiences in others countries, telling apart the viable productive arrangements of the simply possible one. |
