The goal of such a thesis has been to study as well as comprehend the process of implementation of teaching in distance education in a public university in which the juridical system has focused on the offer of courses of undergraduation face to face. Such a research, therefore intends to understand and describe how such an offer of these courses, particularly the administration courses – piloto project of Aberta Univerty of Brazil ( UAB), which have been offered at a partnership with the University of State of Bahia (UNEB) has affected personally, socially and professionally the alumni. Such a distance education has been based upon information and communication technologies (TIC) and it intends to promote an interaction among all people who have been involved in such a process in order for an up-to-date pedagogical consolidation with autonomy based on the theoreticals who deal with such a theme. Such a research has been based upon the case study in a qualitative way through different interviews. Due to such an empirical investigation, it has been observed that such a distance education has promoted development for many people who without this kind of education they would not have another opportunity to study in a university as well as such a thesis has shown itself as an alternative fundamental in order to increase still more a consciousness for an education like that all over the world and stimulate it for good.
